Vault Overview
Your vault is the heart of LockYit - a secure, encrypted container for all your sensitive information.
What is the Vault?
The vault is where all your items are stored:
- Credit cards and bank accounts
- Passwords and login credentials
- Personal documents and IDs
- Secure notes
- Tasks and reminders
Everything in your vault is:
- lock Encrypted with AES-256-GCM
- smartphone Stored locally on your device
- search Searchable without compromising security
Navigating Your Vault
Home Screen
When you open LockYit, you'll see your Home screen that shows your stored items in your vault.
Items
Items are the individual entries in your vault. You can add new items by tapping the + Add Item button on the home screen.
Items can be of different types, such as:
- key Logins & Passwords
- credit_card Financial (Cards, Banks)
- description Documents (IDs, Passports)
- note Notes
- checklist Tasks
- folder And many more...
Search
Use the search bar at the top to find any item instantly. LockYit searches:
- Item titles
- Fields inside items

Security
Your vault is protected by:
- Master Password - Only you know it
- Zero-Knowledge Encryption - We can't see your data
- Biometric Lock - Optional Face ID / Fingerprint
- Auto-Lock - Vault locks after inactivity
