Linking Items

LockYit lets you connect related items together, making it easy to navigate between associated records.

Links create relationships between items in your vault. For example:

  • Link a Credit Card to its Bank Account
  • Link a Car to its Insurance Policy
  • Link a Web Login to its Security Questions

Open an existing item to view it's details, and add links to other items.

  1. Open the item to view it's details
  2. Scroll down and tap on the add_link Related Items button
  3. Select the item to link

Use search to find items quickly.

First open an item that has links:

  1. Scroll down to see the linked items
  2. Each linked item is shown with its type and name
  3. Click or tap any link to open that item directly

First open an item that has links:

  1. Scroll down to see the linked items
  2. Find the link you want to remove
  3. Click or tap on the unlink link_off icon inside the link
  4. Confirm by clicking or tapping on the Unlink button
important

Removing a link only breaks the connection - it doesn't delete the linked item.

Tips​

tip

When you link items, the connection works both ways. If you link Card A to Bank B, you'll see Bank B from Card A's page and Card A from Bank B's page.
