Yes. If you have a LockYit account, you already have Founding User status.
Is this really free forever?
Yes. Local Sync and Local Sharing stay free for Founding Users, with no recurring cost.
What happens after December 31, 2026?
New users who sign up in 2027 or later will need LockYit Pro for these features. Founding Users keep them free.
Do I need to be online to sync or share?
No. Both work over your local network. Your data does not go through any server.
Will there still be a reason to get Pro?
Yes. Pro will add extras on top, such as encrypted cloud backups and priority support. Founding Users can upgrade if they want those, but never need to for Local Sync or Local Sharing.
