Appearance Settings

Customize how LockYit looks and functions visually to match your preferences.

App Title​

Customize the main title of your vault that appears in the app.

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance
  2. Tap App Title
  3. Enter your preferred title (default is your email address or account name)
  4. The new title will appear in the app drawer header and other locations

Theme​

Choose the color theme for the app:

DarkEasy on the eyes, saves battery on OLED screens
SystemAutomatically follows your device settings

Primary Color​

Personalize LockYit with your favorite accent color:

  1. Tap Primary Color
  2. Choose from the color palette to customize the app's color scheme
  3. The app updates immediately

The primary color is used for buttons, icons, highlights, and progress indicators.

Font​

Adjust the text appearance by selecting a font that suits you:

  1. Tap Font
  2. Choose a preferred font (e.g., System Default, Inter, Roboto, Open Sans)

App Scale​

Change the zoom level of the entire app interface:

  1. Tap App Scale
  2. Select a scaling percentage
  3. This is useful for increasing the size of elements on large screens or if you prefer larger touch targets

Grid/Card Fields Count​

Adjust how many fields are shown when viewing vault items as cards or in a grid:

  1. Tap Grid/Card Fields Count
  2. Select the maximum number of fields to display

Border Style​

Choose between:

StyleDescription
FlatSharp, squared corners
RoundedSoft, modern rounded corners

If Rounded is selected, you can also adjust the Border Radius to fine-tune the roundness of UI elements.

Default Task View​

Set the default layout when accessing the Tasks feature:

  1. Tap Default Task View
  2. Select your preferred view (e.g., List View, Kanban View, Timeline View)

Advance Reminders​

Configure whether the app should notify you of upcoming reminders before the due date:

  1. Toggle Advance Reminders on or off.
  2. If enabled, tap Days Ahead to specify how many days in advance tasks or reminders should appear in your notifications or current view.
