Data Settings

Manage your vault data using import/export tools, and perform maintenance on your database.

CSV Export

Create a plaintext backup of your vault by exporting to a CSV file.

1. Go to Settings → Data
2. Tap CSV Export
3. Read the security warning
4. Tap I Understand, Export
5. Choose a save location
6. Optionally, share the file after creation

Exporting to CSV means the data will not be encrypted. Anyone who has access to the exported file can view your entries.

CSV Import

Restore items from a CSV backup or migrate from another app or information manager.

1. Go to Settings → Data
2. Tap CSV Import
3. Select your CSV file
4. Review the preview and confirm import
5. Your items are securely encrypted and stored in the database

Refresh Search Data

Rebuilds the internal search index.

• Why use it? If you notice that searching for valid items is not returning expected results, you can rebuild the search index.
• 1. Tap Refresh Search Data to regenerate the index in the background.

Purge Deleted Data

Permanently removes any items marked as deleted in the database.

• LockYit might soft-delete items during standard usage to allow undo actions or conflict resolution.
• Tap Purge Deleted Data to permanently destroy these items and free up space. This action cannot be undone.

Database Analytics

Get insights into your vault data usage and statistics.

1. Tap Database Analytics
2. View the count of your items, broken down by item types, fields, and other metrics to understand your usage patterns.
