Extension Settings

Configure the browser extension bridge capabilities (available on desktop platforms only).

For LockYit to communicate securely with your web browser, it employs a local bridge.

Bridge Status​

Monitor the connection between the LockYit desktop application and the browser extension.

  • Shows whether the bridge is actively running, the port it is running on, and the number of active sessions currently securely connected.

Pairing Secret​

Provides the cryptographic secret required to authenticate a new browser extension.

  • Tap the setting to silently reveal and copy the pairing secret to your clipboard.
  • Do not share this secret. It is your sole verification phrase for new extension setups.

Pairing PIN​

Provides the temporary, short-lived PIN that the browser extension may request during initial handshakes.

  • Tap the setting to silently reveal and copy the pairing PIN to your clipboard.
  • This PIN is dynamically generated to bolster the pairing process against unauthorized local access.
